Mass Effect 2 Collectors' Edition announced

Electronic Arts has announced a collectors' edition of forthcoming RPG Mass Effect 2.

The Collectors' Edition armour looks very cool.

The Mass Effect 2 Collectors' Edition will be available in North America on January 29th in Europe and January 26th in North America alongside the regular version for both PC and Xbox 360.

This special version ships in a premium tin case packed with the game itself, a 48 page art book, Issue 1 of the Mass Effect Redemption comic, a bonus behind the scenes DVD and unique in-game weapons and armour.

"We’re really excited to roll out this Collectors’ Edition featuring so many unique items, including special Collectors’ Edition armor and weapons and content that will surprise Mass Effect fans," said Dr. Ray Muzyka, co-founder, BioWare and Group General Manager of the RPG/MMO Group of EA. "The limited edition comic book and bonus DVD will really enhance and expand the overall Mass Effect 2 experience."

The Mass Effect 2 Collectors’ Edition will retail for $69.99 on Xbox 360 and $59.99 on PC.

Thanks EA, i just pre-ordered Mass Effect 2 on ea store 3 weeks ago, and then you tell me about this afterwards....geez

I have ordered mine through game but they don't seem to have the collectors edition yet. Not too bothered to be honest. I will already have the dragon armour from Dragon Age:Origins collectors edition that I can use in ME2. :D

yeah me 2, but im just thinking about those neet looking guns you'll get, obviously im a big fan of that game ...
